Crack 2 eggs into each bag along with your favorite seasonings and whatever ingredients you like in your omelets. Add a tablespoon of water and two teaspoons of butter or one teaspoon of oil. Seal the bag and shake until the ingredients are mixed.
If you are preparing these ahead of time you can refrigerate them overnight or even freeze them until you are ready to start cooking.
Drop the bags into boiling water and let them cook at least 13 minutes. Carefully remove the bags from the pot with tongs or a ladle when the eggs are done. Open the bags and carefully roll out the omelet.
